Anion‐Driven Surface Reconstruction Enables Direct Regeneration of LiCoO2 Cathode Material

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The anion scpecies in molten salt systems critically govern the surface reconstruction of regenerated LiCoO2. LiOH−LiCl flux, featuring strong Cl− adsorption and facile dissociation, directs preferential relithiation on (003) facets and forms a Li−O enriched interface.

Reading Refugee/(Im)Migrant Education Diffractively: Transdisciplinary Exploration of Matters That Matter and Matter That Matters in Refugee/(Im)Migrant Education

open access: yesSocial Sciences
This paper is a conceptual exploration and diffractive reading of refugee/(im)migrant education through multiple lenses, including data-driven decision making, critical refugee studies, new materialism and critical feminist and posthumanist studies, and ...

Sn‐Driven Grain Boundary Elimination for Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Rich Cathodes with Superior High‐Voltage Stability in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A low‐temperature synthesis method of single‐crystalline NCA was successfully achieved by Sn doping, employing the same synthetic conditions as its polycrystalline counterparts. This synthesis was conducted at a temperature that was 150 °C lower than that required for synthesizing single‐crystalline NCA without Sn doping.

Posthumanism and Design

open access: yesShe Ji: The Journal of Design, Economics and Innovation
Since at least the mid-1980s, design has been dominated by a human-centered and user-centered paradigm. Currently, the implications of technological and environmental transformations are challenging designers to focus on complex socio-technical systems ...

Temperature‐Modulated MEMS Gas Sensor Array Enabled by Physics‐Informed Deep Learning for Thermal‐Runaway Characteristic Gas Discrimination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a 2 × 2 integrated single‐chip MEMS gas sensor array with temperature modulation and deep learning for discriminating thermal‐runaway characteristic gases. The array generates distinct temperature‐modulated response patterns for four characteristic gases (H2, CO, CH4, and CO2), while a HK‐MoE model is developed to achieve robust ...

Palaeoproteomic Deconvolution of Physical and Genetic Collagen Mixtures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ClassiCOL_v2 uses a novel “peptide patching” framework that treats any collagen sample as a patchwork of peptide sequences derived from phylogenetically related species. This allows the algorithm to simultaneously resolve two previously intractable problems: multi‐species samples and/or database deficiencies.
