This study demonstrates that indium clusters with 6s2 lone‐pair effect anchored on carbon nitride act as excitonic electron reservoirs to boost charge separation and O2 activation for highly selective direct 2e− oxygen reduction. This work establishes cluster‐mediated electron reservoir engineering as a general strategy for enhancing selective ...

Conformationally Switchable Copper(I) Complexes Amplify BODIPY Triplet Photosensitization
Coupling a structurally switchable Cu(I) complex to an organic light‐harvesting chromophore boosts photoinduced intersystem crossing via the transient formation of a Cu(II) intermediate. Spectroscopic, physical, computational, and photocatalytic studies support this unique new approach to solar energy upconversion.

Surface processing by femtosecond EUV laser
We have demonstrated the surface processing by use of single and multiple EUV-FEL irradiations. Ablation threshold of silica glass against femtosecond EUV pulse is 20 times smaller than that of near-IR pulse. On the surface, damage free structures are found in interaction region.

Beyond Radical Emitters: Hot‐Exciton Electroluminescence From Singlet Diradicaloids
The first hot‐exciton mechanism in a singlet diradicaloid is demonstrated in a polychlorinated Thiele hydrocarbon‐based organic light‐emitting transistor. Reverse intersystem crossing involving the T2 and bright singly excited states enables electroluminescence beyond the 25% spin‐statistical limit, leading to remarkable external quantum efficiency ...
