Assessment of Fenobucarb and Propoxur insecticides in environmental samples by spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric methods

open access: yesChemical Papers, 2023
Abstract The widespread use of fenobucarb and propoxur insecticides for agricultural and non-agricultural purposes causes undesirable effects on human health and environment due to their residues in surface and ground water resources. In view of this two new, simple, accurate, sensitive, economical and reproducible optical methods have been ...

Applications of surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy in environmental detection

open access: yesAnalytical Science Advances, Volume 3, Issue 3-4, Page 113-145, April 2022., 2022
Abstract As the human population grows, the anthropogenic impacts from various agricultural and industrial processes produce unwanted contaminants in the environment. The accurate, sensitive and rapid detection of such contaminants is vital for human health and safety.

Cumulative Risk Assessment of Dietary Exposure to Pesticide Residues in Brown Rice (Oryza sativa L.) from the Three Main Rice‐Growing Regions in China during 2016–2020

open access: yesJournal of Food Quality, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
The residual levels of 25 monitored pesticides in 6,229 brown rice samples obtained from the 17 provinces of the three main rice‐growing regions in China during 2016–2020 were analyzed, and the cumulative risks of chronic and acute exposure to pesticides for the Chinese population were assessed.

Rapid Screening of 352 Pesticide Residues in Chrysanthemum Flower by Gas Chromatography Coupled to Quadrupole‐Orbitrap Mass Spectrometry with Sin‐QuEChERS Nanocolumn Extraction

open access: yesJournal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
To analyze pesticide residues, GC coupled with quadrupole‐Orbitrap MS (GC‐Orbitrap‐MS) has become a powerful tool because of its unique characteristics of accurate mass full‐spectrum acquisition, high resolution, fast acquisition rates, and overcoming matrix interference. This paper presents an efficiency evaluation of GC‐Orbitrap‐MS for identification

Cumulative dietary risk assessment of chronic acetylcholinesterase inhibition by residues of pesticides

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 19, Issue 2, February 2021., 2021
Abstract A retrospective cumulative risk assessment of dietary exposure to pesticide residues was conducted for chronic inhibition of acetylcholinesterase. The pesticides considered in this assessment were identified and characterised in a previous scientific report on the establishment of cumulative assessment groups of pesticides for their effects on

Simultaneous separation and detection chiral fenobucarb enantiomers using UPLC–MS/MS [PDF]

open access: yesSN Applied Sciences, 2019
A reliable and sensitive method was developed and validated for the determination of chiral pesticide fenobucarb enantiomers with UPLC–MS/MS. The fenobucarb enantiomers were baseline separated on Daicel IG-3 chiral column using a mixture of acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid water (60:40, v/v) as mobile phase.
