Preventing the next invasion: Lessons from aquaculture for the safe expansion of insect farming

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 63, Issue 2, February 2026.
We argue that preemptive risk assessments, species screening and transferable, adaptive regulatory frameworks developed for aquaculture offer a critical foundation for safeguarding against insect#x02010;driven invasions. The role of tropical forest fragment vegetation in maintaining arthropod diversity and spillover to adjacent sugarcane fields O papel da vegetação de fragmentos de floresta tropical na manutenção da diversidade de artrópodes e na sua disseminação para campos de cana‐de‐açúcar adjacentes

Trap Cropping to Maximize Agricultural Yield: Balancing Land Allocation Trade‐Offs Between Main Crop Production and Effective Pest Management

open access: yesNatural Resource Modeling, Volume 39, Issue 1, February 2026.
