The synthesis of Z‐olefins is an important challenge in synthetic organic chemistry. Within this review, we report a comprehensive overview of transition metals‐catalyzed Z‐selective C–H activations of (hetero)arenes for the synthesis of stereodefined olefins.

Electrochemical C─H Amination From a Primary Amine via a Cobalt Nitrene Intermediate
This article reveals proof of principle to unlock the use of unfunctionalized amines as nitrene precursor alternatives, extending the applicability of metal nitrene transfer catalysis. Electrochemical generation of a cobalt nitrene intermediate from 4‐phenylbutylamine leads to C─H amination, producing the cyclic imine 2‐phenylpyrroline.
