This work is based on confining the solid booster within recessed microelectrode (rME) and utilizing scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) to determine the reaction rate between the solid booster and the dissolved active redox species.This enables conntrolled polariztion of the booster at different state os charge.

Dual‐Phosphorus, Dual‐Nitrogen‐Embedded Corannulene: Synthesis, Structure, and Electronic Coupling
P2N2‐TBC, a corannulene‐based bowl structure incorporating two phosphorus and two nitrogen atoms, represents the first P2N2‐embedded heterobuckybowl. The cis and trans stereoisomers of this compound display distinct packing motifs, leading to markedly different electronic coupling patterns.
