Contribution of fetal brain MRI in management of severe fetal anemia
European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology, 2018Intrauterine transfusion (IUT) has changed fetal anemia prognosis. However, long-term neurodevelopmental outcome is altered in 5% of children. Sinusoidal fetal heart rate pattern and severe fetal anemia.
Obstetrics and gynecology, 1977This report describes a case of a sinusoidal fetal heart rate (FHR) pattern encountered in a fetus at 34 weeks' gestation during antepartum fetal stress testing because of maternal hypertension. Delivery of the fetus was accomplished, and the newborn was found to be severely anemic and hypotensive due to a massive fetomaternal transfusion.

[Fetomaternal macrotransfusion with severe fetal anemia].
Zentralblatt fur Gynakologie, 1985A fetomaternal macrotransfusion endangers fetal life. This report describes a fetomaternal macrotransfusion of about 300 ml blood. Ante partum and intra partum monitoring showed a mild fetal tachycardia. After spontaneous delivery the newborn was severe anemic and has a mild hepatosplenomegaly and edema.
