Decreased Serum 5‐HT: Clinical Correlates and Regulatory Role in NMJ of MG
ABSTRACT Objective Although 5‐Hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT) indirectly stimulates muscle contraction and participates in regulating Acetylcholine receptor (AChR) cluster homeostasis in cellular, animal, and clinical studies, evidence regarding its potential to modulate muscle contraction in myasthenia gravis (MG) remains limited.

ABSTRACT Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD) is a chronic autoimmune neuroinflammatory disease, typically characterized by antibodies against aquaporin 4 (AQP4‐IgG) or myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG‐IgG). Simultaneous seropositivity for both antibodies in a single patient is exceedingly rare.

Obstetrical aspects in congenital ichtyosis [PDF]
We present a case of congenital ichthyosis because obstetrical literature is scarce and most obstetricians could need a reminder and update. Congenital ichthyosis (CI) comprises a variety of skin disorders characterised by abnormal keratinization of the ...

ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by antibody‐mediated complement activation. Efgartigimod, a neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) antagonist, is approved for treating generalized MG (gMG). However, its modulatory effects on upstream innate and adaptive immune cells remain largely unexplored.

Antepartum fetal monitoring in pregnant women with diabetes: A systematic review
Diabetes in pregnancy affects approximately 15.5% of pregnant women worldwide, the majority of these women are in low‐ and middle‐income countries. Current guidelines recommend additional fetal monitoring for pregnant women with diabetes, particularly ...

Reduced fetal movement (RFM) can indicate that a fetus is at risk, but current monitoring methods provide only a “snapshot in time” of fetal health and require trained clinicians in clinical settings.

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...
