FEVER: a large-scale dataset for Fact Extraction and VERification [PDF]
In this paper we introduce a new publicly available dataset for verification against textual sources, FEVER: Fact Extraction and VERification. It consists of 185,445 claims generated by altering sentences extracted from Wikipedia and subsequently verified without knowledge of the sentence they were derived from.

Abstract The aim of this study was to examine potential synergistic effects between maternal autoimmune disease and early childhood infections and their association with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in offspring. Both exposures have been associated with increased risk of ASD in previous studies, but potential synergistic effects remain underexplored.

A distinct approach to diagnose Dengue Fever with the help of Soft Set Theory [PDF]
Mathematics has played a substantial role to revolutionize the medical science. Intelligent systems based on mathematical theories have proved to be efficient in diagnosing various diseases. In this paper, we used an expert system based on soft set theory and fuzzy set theory named as a soft expert system to diagnose tropical disease dengue.

Early diagnosis and prognosis prediction of central nervous system infections are critical. This study introduces a deep‐learning model utilizing cerebrospinal fluid immune‐cell morphology captured via 3D holotomography. The model effectively predicts infection etiology and prognosis, achieving high accuracy.

An Online Learning Approach for Dengue Fever Classification [PDF]
This paper introduces a novel approach for dengue fever classification based on online learning paradigms. The proposed approach is suitable for practical implementation as it enables learning using only a few training samples. With time, the proposed approach is capable of learning incrementally from the data collected without need for retraining the ...

Rethinking Loss Functions for Fact Verification [PDF]
We explore loss functions for fact verification in the FEVER shared task. While the cross-entropy loss is a standard objective for training verdict predictors, it fails to capture the heterogeneity among the FEVER verdict classes. In this paper, we develop two task-specific objectives tailored to FEVER.
