Evaluation of the Adequate Radiopacity of Cavity Lining/Base and Core Build‐Up Light Cured Composite Resins

open access: yesAustralian Dental Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background This study aimed to compare the radiopacity of composite resins (CR) used as lining, base, and core‐build up materials with enamel and dentine and evaluate their compliance with ISO 4049. Methods Specimens of 1, 2, and 3 mm thicknesses; (n = 6) were fabricated from 13 low‐viscosity and 10 regular‐viscosity CRs.

Variation in Stabilization and Resuscitation Practices at Birth of Preterm Infants Among 12 National or Regional Neonatal Networks

open access: yesActa Paediatrica, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim Neonatal resuscitation follows national or regional guidelines, but uptake varies in clinical practice. This study aimed to examine variations in reported delivery room practices for infants < 29 weeks' gestation across neonatal units in 12 networks of the International Network for Evaluating Outcomes in Neonates.

Free Vibration Analysis for Polyester/Graphene Nanocomposites Multilayer Functionally Graded Plates

open access: yesФізика і хімія твердого тіла
In the current work, an FGM nanocomposite made of multi-layers of graphene nanoparticles and a polyester-based matrix was constructed using the molds with a hand lay-up technique to attain an accurate shape and reduce defects in the final product.

Isogeometric Analysis of FGM Plates

open access: yesMaterials Today: Proceedings, 2018
Abstract This work presents an isogeometric formulation for the geometrically nonlinear analysis of functionally graded material (FGM) plates. FGM plates are made of a mixture of two components (ceramic and metal) whose volume fractions vary smoothly along the thickness.

Clustering of technological attitudes and reasons for device (non‐)uptake among Dutch people with type 1 diabetes, family members and health professionals

open access: yesDiabetic Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Pump and sensor technology contributes to glucose management and quality of life for people with type 1 diabetes (PWD). However, not everyone uses these technologies. This commonly relates to technological attitudes, experiences and expectations. Also, parents and partners (P/P) and healthcare providers (HCPs) may impactful decision‐

New design for the cold part of heat pipes using functionally graded material in heat sink with vari

open access: yesJournal of Thermal Engineering
This study proposed a new design for the cold part of heat pipes that utilizes a Functionally Graded Material (FGM) in the heat sink with power-law fins. The heat transfer in the heat pipes was evaluated using the heat resistance method, and it was shown

Insulin, Semaglutide and Dapagliflozin in Adults With Type 1 Diabetes: Design and Methods of Triple Therapy for Type 1 Diabetes (TTT1)—An International Phase 3 Clinical Trial

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aims Attaining target glycaemia can be a challenge in Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) due to insulin‐induced weight gain. Adjunct therapy with modern glucose‐lowering agents developed for type 2 diabetes (T2D) has great potential but may be insufficiently efficacious and carries risks of hypoglycaemia and ketosis.
