A High‐Precision and Robust Geometric Relationships‐Inspired Neural Network for the Inverse Kinematic Modeling of the Tendon‐Actuated Continuum Manipulator

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 8, Issue 1, January 2026.
An online learning control framework with a data cache pool based on a constant‐curvature model inspired neural network (CCMINN) model to obtain the inverse kinematics model of tendon‐actuated continuum manipulators is proposed. Combining the fast‐converging CCMINN with an online learning control framework enables high‐precision and highly robust ...

Dynamical Evolution of BIC‐Fano Dual Modes under Misalignment of Two Waveguide‐Coupled Gratings

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 1, 8 January 2026.
Previous studies have paid much attention to bound states in the continuum (BIC), but overlooked its pairing terms: the resonance state. This work has found that as a partner, BIC and resonance state can undergo unique interaction, coexistence, and conversion.

Deterministic Nanofabrication of Quantum Dot ‐ Circular Bragg Grating Resonators with High Process Yield Using In Situ Electron Beam Lithography

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 1, January 2026.
We demonstrate that deterministic in situ electron‐beam lithography enables precise integration of single quantum dots into compact circular Bragg grating resonators, achieving high extraction efficiency with only 3–4 rings. Across 95 devices, the approach delivers >$>$90% alignment yield and bright, narrow‐linewidth single‐photon emission, providing a

Relation between porosity‐based and crystal‐based femtosecond laser‐induced nanogratings in oxide glasses

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Glass Science, Volume 17, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Femtosecond laser irradiation in glass, under controlled conditions, can induce two types of nanogratings (NG): porous nanogratings (pNG) and crystal/glass nanogratings (cNG). While most glasses exhibit only one type, binary aluminosilicate glasses have shown both types of NG.
