Study of Varietal Differences in the Composition of Heteropolysaccharides of Oil Flax and Fiber Flax
Flaxseed mucilage and its derivatives have been extensively investigated over the last decade, mainly due to their inherent techno-functional (thickening, gelling, interface-stabilizing, and film-forming) properties that are relevant in the food industry.

Novel hybrid flax reinforced supersap composites in automotive applications [PDF]
Flax fibre bio-epoxy composites have not found many commercial uses in structural applications on account of their lack of cost efficiency and high susceptibility to environmental changes. Non-woven flax mats were subjected to alkali, acetylation, silane

Infrared Spectroscopy of Fiber Flax
Comparative analysis of the presented IR-spectrums has shown a presence of some quantity of pectins, hemicelluloses, and lignin in the fibers obtained by various methods of stem processing of studied long-fibered flax cultivars. This fact can be because they are not only a part of intercellular layers but also located in fiber walls.

Experimental Study of Fiber Length and Orientation in Injection Molded Natural Fiber/Starch Acetate Composites [PDF]
Composite compounds based on triethyl citrate plasticized starch acetate and hemp and flax fibers were prepared by melt processing. Plasticizer contents from 20 to 35 wt% and fiber contents of 10 and 40 wt% were used.
