Phase Sensitive Two Pump Optical Parametric Amplifier Using Non linear Single Mode Fiber

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2011
An application of two pump optical parametric amplifier using non linear single mode fiber in optical link has been presented. By controlling relative phase difference between two‐pump power, amplification gain of optical parametric amplifier can be controlled.

Machine learning aided non-linear interference compensation for optical fiber communication systems

2023
The capacity of optical fiber communication systems needs to be increased to meet the ever-growing demand for reliable high-speed data transmission. Nonlinear impairments induced by the Kerr effect are the primary bottleneck limiting the capacity of optical fibers.

Impacts of Non-linear Effects in DWDM Based Fiber Optic Communication System

2019
Nowadays, a technology is developed and there is a large amount of bandwidth capacity is necessary to the requirement of users. In this paper, the FWM power is calculated by varying the parameters such as channel spacing, effective area, fiber length and input power. The FWM power is suppressed by using hybrid modulation technique.

Integrated all optical transmodulator circuits with non-linear gain elements and tunable optical fibers

2012
We characterize integrated InP circuits for high speed ‘all-optical’ signal processing. Single chip circuits act as optical transistors. Transmodulation is performed by non-linear gain sections. Integrated tunable filters give signal equalization in time domain.
