All-Optical 3R Regeneration Using Fiber Optical Parametric Oscillator and Amplifier [PDF]
We demonstrate an all-optical wavelength-tunable 3R regenerator based on fiber optical parametric oscillator and amplifier. Regenerated signal with a power penalty of 0.1 dB versus back-to-back at 10-9 BER can be obtained.
