Mirror symmetry and elliptic Calabi-Yau manifolds

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We find that for many Calabi-Yau threefolds with elliptic or genus one fibrations mirror symmetry factorizes between the fiber and the base of the fibration.

On Structure Fuzzy Fibration

open access: yesWasit Journal for Pure Sciences
In this paper, we introduced concept of fuzzy homotopy lifting property, fuzzy fiber structure is introduced. Also, the definition of the fuzzy lifting function and some theorems in a fuzzy topological space are discussed.

Two-variable fibrations, factorisation systems and $\infty $ -categories of spans

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2023
We prove a universal property for $\infty $ -categories of spans in the generality of Barwick’s adequate triples, explicitly describe the cocartesian fibration corresponding to the span functor, and show that the latter restricts to a self ...

The Serre spectral sequence of a noncommutative fibration for de Rham cohomology

open access: yes, 2005
For differential calculi on noncommutative algebras, we construct a twisted de Rham cohomology using flat connections on modules. This has properties similar, in some respects, to sheaf cohomology on topological spaces.

Theories of class F and anomalies

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We consider the 6d (2, 0) theory on a fibration by genus g curves, and dimensionally reduce along the fiber to 4d theories with duality defects. This generalizes class S theories, for which the fibration is trivial.

Fibrations of AU-contexts beget fibrations of toposes

open access: yesTheory and Applications of Categories, 2020
Suppose an extension map $U\colon \mathbb{T}_1 \to \mathbb{T}_0$ in the 2-category $\mathfrak{Con}$ of contexts for arithmetic universes satisfies a Chevalley criterion for being an (op)fibration in $\mathfrak{Con}$. If $M$ is a model of $\mathbb{T}_0$ in an elementary topos $\mathcal{S}$ with nno, then the classifier $p\colon\mathcal{S}[\mathbb{T}_1/M]

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Categorical notions of fibration

open access: yes, 2019
Fibrations over a category $B$, introduced to category theory by Grothendieck, encode pseudo-functors $B^{op} \rightsquigarrow {\bf Cat}$, while the special case of discrete fibrations encode presheaves $B^{op} \to {\bf Set}$.
