The ‘hybrid’ fibro-osseous lesion
The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, 1986A hitherto unreported 'hybrid' fibro-osseous lesion involving the nasal cavity and sinuses is reported. This lesion histologically demonstrated features of ossifying fibroma, cementifying fibroma and aneurysmal cyst. Whilst appearing benign in nature it behaved in a neoplastic manner which necessitated complete surgical excision.
