Head & Neck, 1990
AbstractAlthough approximately 13% of lipomatous tumors occur in the head and neck, most of these are found in the immediate subcutaneous tissues, and lipomas of the deep head and neck tissues are rare. Lipomas consist of adipose tissue separated by fine fibrous trabeculae; if the amount of fibrous tissue is appreciable, the designation of fibrolipoma ...

Fibrolipoma of the Tip of the Nose
Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, 2009Fibrolipoma is a rare benign tumor that usually presents as an asymptomatic, slowly growing mass with a firm or soft consistency clinically. Histopathologic findings show the proliferation of normal mature fat and fibrous tissue. We report a first case of the fibrolipoma of the nasal tip in a 24-year-old man.

A case of gingival fibrolipoma is described. The lesion presented as a tumor‐like mass with a broad base arising from the attached gingiva adjacent to the mandibular left first bicuspid. Microscopic evaluation of the lesion revealed an admixture of mature adipose tissue and fibrous connective tissue. Fibrolipomas are an infrequent variant of lipomas. A

Fibrolipoma of the cheek in a child
Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 1982Fibrolipomas in the oral cavity are infrequent neoplasms. Their occurrence in children is even more unusual. A case of this tumor involving the check in a child is reported, and the histogenesis discussed. These lesions represent a variant of lipoma and derive their name from their relative amounts of adipose and fibrous tissue.
