Summary A benign fibroma with some chondroid change occurring immediately distal to an unerupted mandibular third molar tooth in a 14-year-old boy has been described with particular reference to its histopathology. The discussion has been directed towards the question of whether the tumour was of odontogenic or non-odontogenic origin.

To report a case of an isolated tarsal fibroma.Case report. Excisional biopsy and histopathological evaluation were performed on a solid lesion originating from the tarsal conjunctival surface of an upper eyelid.Histopathological evaluation, including positive trichrome stains, was consistent with fibroma of the left upper tarsus.

Sclerotic fibroma is an uncommon fibrotic neoplasm that occurs both sporadically as well as in patients affected by Cowden’s disease. We present an additional case of solitary sclerotic fibroma not associated with Cowden’s disease. Although most of the lesion was sclerotic, there was a cellular area with some multinuclear cells.

Four cases of ameloblastic fibroma appearing in the posterior maxilla and the cupsid area of the mandibula are presented. One of the lesions appeared in the wall of a cyst and another was found in connection with a cyst. The treatment is conservative but the tumor needs close follow up for possible recurrence.
