GPR65 Functions as a Key Factor of Bone Aging and a Novel Therapeutic Target for Osteoporosis

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 24, Issue 10, October 2025.
This study demonstrates that osteoclast‐enriched GPR65 inhibits osteoclast differentiation and bone loss through the Gαq‐GSK3β‐NFATc1 signaling pathway. The application of the GPR65 agonist is found to alleviate bone loss and osteoporosis, providing a potential specific therapeutic target for bone aging and osteoporosis. ABSTRACT Osteoporosis (OP) is a

Total Hip Arthroplasty for Crowe III/IV Hip Dysplasia With Oblique Subtrochanteric Shortening Osteotomy and S‐ROM‐A Modular Stem: 10‐Year Outcomes

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 17, Issue 10, Page 2895-2902, October 2025.
Intermediate functional and radiographic outcomes of the described method at final follow‐up were almost favorable, and there were no neurological complications. Reconstruction with S‐ROM modular stem combined with subtrochanteric shortening osteotomy in primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) for high hip dislocation is a useful surgical approach ...

Extra‐Amniotic Bovine Foetus With Aplasia of the Posterior Body: A Case Report

open access: yesReproduction in Domestic Animals, Volume 60, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT To date, extra‐amniotic foetal development has not been reported in cattle. In humans, such development outside the amniotic cavity is often associated with the formation of amniotic strands, which can lead to developmental malformations. Although congenital defects in the bovine species are uncommon, they typically result in significant ...
