An autonomous flame ionization detector for emission monitoring [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sensors and Sensor Systems, 2019
Reliable and very sensitive detection of hydrocarbons can be achieved with a flame ionization detector (FID). Due to the required complex gas infrastructure for the operation of an FID, these devices have not been implemented as true field devices yet ...

Atomic Tuning of Metal‐Support Interactions for Pathway‐Selective CO2 Photoreduction on TiO2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐atom Fe and Cu catalysts anchored on TiO2 steer photocatalytic CO2 reduction toward distinct pathways. Fe sites favor rapid *CO desorption and selective CO formation, whereas Cu sites stabilize *CHO intermediates, enabling deep reduction and C─C coupling. Combined spectroscopy and DFT calculations reveal how metal–support interactions and oxygen

Covalently Integrated Selenoviologen–N‐Heterocyclic Carbene–Pt Nanoparticles for Visible‐Light‐Driven Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A covalently integrated single‐component photocatalyst is constructed by anchoring selenoviologen to platinum nanoparticles via robust N‐heterocyclic carbene ligands. The resulting Pt─C covalent bonds function dually as protective structural scaffolds and direct channels for ultrafast intramolecular electron transfer This precise interfacial ...

Oral Nanomicelle‐Mediated Sequential Butyrate Production in the Intestine for Ulcerative Colitis and Immunosuppression Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
After oral administration, inodorous GLU‐BA self‐assembles into nanomicelles in aqueous environments to resist premature gastric adsorption. Upon reaching the intestine, endogenous esterases rapidly cleave the built‐in ester bonds in these nanomicelles to release BA and GLU, with GLU further metabolized by gut microbiota to gradually generate BA ...

Oligosaccharides With Defined Glycosidic Bonds Shape Gut Microbial Succession and Metabolism Via Bond‐Specific Microbial Responders

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oligosaccharides with defined glycosidic bonds drive divergent gut microbial succession and shape unique metabolic profiles. Absolute time‐series profiling with Bayesian generalized Lotka–Volterra modeling identifies bond‐specific microbial responders, while monoculture validation and metaproteomics reveal linkage‐matched transport and cleavage modules.

EVALUATION OF STYLEGAN2 AND STYLEGAN3 FOR SYNTHETIC MEDICAL IMAGE GENERATION ON BUSI AND CBIS-DDSM DATASETS

open access: yesШәкәрім университетінің хабаршысы: Техника ғылымдар
Deep learning from medical images is typically hindered by limited access to images and severe imbalance of classes that reduces the effectiveness of typical machine learning algorithms.

X-ray topographic study of defects in Si-based multilayer epitaxial power devices

open access: yesModern Electronic Materials, 2016
Silicon based multilayered epitaxial structures are currently the main material for large-scale commercial fabrication of generally used power semiconductor devices such as fast recovery epitaxial diodes (FRED), isolate gate bipolar transistor (IGBT ...

GC-MS/FID/EAD: A method for combining mass spectrometry with gas chromatography-electroantennographic detection

open access: yesFrontiers in Ecology and Evolution, 2022
Gas chromatography-electroantennographic detection (GC-EAD), typically combined with a flame ionization detector (FID), is a widely used technique for studying insect semiochemicals.
