CryoFluorSEM – A new approach for fluorescence and EM imaging of cryofractured plant samples
Abstract Cryo‐scanning electron microscopy (CryoSEM) permits the preparation and detailed imaging of bulky samples while keeping them in a hydrated state. For plant biology, cryofractures give information on cell ultrastructure and tissue organisation within a much larger context that is the whole organ or organism.

In this study, 100 cadaveric temporal bones underwent synchrotron radiation phase‐contrast imaging. Images were segmented to produce 3D surface mesh models for morphological analysis. Measurements obtained for all cochleae included: standard gross dimensions, various cochlear lengths including basilar membrane length, detailed intracochlear scalar ...

Layer‐by‐layer passive ex vivo assessment of flexion–extension‐dominant limb joint ROM across rabbit, pudu deer, chilla fox and pig revealed joint‐, tissue‐ and taxon‐specific responses to progressive tissue removal. Proximal joints often showed increasing ROM, whereas distal joints often showed non‐monotonic responses.

Parenthood and CEO Responses to Media Criticism on Pay
Abstract Research on media coverage of controversial corporate practices typically suggests firms respond instrumentally to mitigate stakeholder reactions. However, we argue that CEOs' moral concerns can sometimes override strategic considerations, because media criticism may expose them to scrutiny from personally valued audiences – for instance ...

Workflow to facilitate complete denture scanning with an intraoral scanner: A technique report
Abstract Scanning a denture with an intraoral scanner is typically more challenging than scanning a dentate arch. This article describes a novel technique for digitally duplicating a complete denture. The workflow involves scanning an existing denture using an intraoral scanner with the addition of specific markers and subsequently constructing a ...

Abstract This clinical report presents a comprehensive digital workflow for rehabilitating a patient with maxillary terminal dentition using a full‐arch, implant‐supported fixed dental prosthesis (FP‐1). It highlights the integration of a 3D‐printed polychromatic flangeless trial denture and a customized anatomic bone reduction template, enabling ...

Autocorrelation-based Fiducial Markers for Traceability
Classical approaches to the rectification of a single image of a product, without stereo correspondences, require spatial landmarks. These landmarks, constructed from high-contrast elementary shapes that can be detected with simple algorithms, are highly conspicuous.
