Microscopic tumor spread beyond (echo)endoscopically determined tumor borders in esophageal cancer
Objective The microscopic tumor spread (MS) beyond the macroscopic tumor borders of esophageal tumors is crucial for determining the clinical target volume (CTV) in radiotherapy. The question arises whether current voluminous CTV margins of 3–5 cm around

This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

In this research article, Mansoor and coworkers present a novel device that applies controlled mechanical stimuli to cardiomyocytes using pressure‐driven membrane deformation. By exposing cells to physiologically and pathologically relevant loading conditions, the platform reproduces distinct structural, functional and molecular responses associated ...

Ethical Precision in Nanoscale Brain Interfacing
As brain interfaces approach the nanoscale, precision no longer only measures—it knows, predicts, and potentially reshapes the mind. This work argues that traditional ethics fails under such conditions and proposes a shift toward continuous, operation‐based governance using the recovery–discovery framework to track, constrain, and responsibly steer ...

Dynamic Regulation of Endogenous Transcription Factor Hubs at Single‐Molecule Resolution
This study combines single‐molecule microscopy and genome editing to characterize the dynamic behaviors of endogenous oncofusion transcription factor EWS::FLI1 in Ewing sarcoma cells. EWS::FLI1 forms neomorphic hubs that dynamically assemble and dissolve. The hubs are regulated during mitosis, by RNA, and by specific chemicals.
