Direct Integrator for Fifth order Boundary Value Problems in Ordinary Dierential Equations

International Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Optimization: Theory and Applications, 2023
Fifth-order Boundary Value Problems (BVPs) in Ordinary Dierential Equations are solved using Block Unification Methods (BUM). Continuous Linear Multistep Methods (CLMMs) are developed via the collocation and interpolation approach. These methods constitutes the main and additional methods which are unified in block fashion for numerically solving ...

Intelligent computing to solve fifth-order boundary value problem arising in induction motor models

Neural Computing and Applications, 2016
In this study, biologically inspired intelligent computing approached based on artificial neural networks (ANN) models optimized with efficient local search methods like sequential quadratic programming (SQP), interior point technique (IPT) and active set technique (AST) is designed to solve the higher order nonlinear boundary value problems arise in ...

An O(h 6 ) numerical solution of general nonlinear fifth-order two point boundary value problems

Numerical Algorithms, 2010
A 5-th order nonlinear boundary-value problems is numerically treated by means of sextic splines. The standard method would yield non-optimal approximations and no more than second order of accuracy. In the present paper high-order perturbations are generated and applied to result in sixth order of accuracy.
