Emergent Spinning and Orbital Motion in Clustered Wind‐Assisted Flyers
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Inspired by natural snowflake geometries, paper‐cut flyers exhibit geometry‐defined spinning and orbital motions during cluster formation in a wind tunnel. Collective flights of multiple paperflakes reveal dynamic clustering, fragmentation, and continuously evolving spin behaviors.

Subversion of Atypical Mucin Traps by a Spore‐Coat Effector Blocks Cellular Immunity in Drosophila
Advanced Science, EarlyView.While the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium robertsii can evade insect humoral immunity, its subversion of cellular defenses is still elusive. We identify Eac1 as a spore‐coat protein essential for infecting drosophilids by targeting atypical mucins (Sgf1 and Sgf2), which can entrap spores in a gel matrix and thereby facilitate hemocyte encapsulation.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Plant‐based nanomaterials derived from alfalfa serve as dual‐function catalysts, coupling photodegradation and phytoremediation to degrade polyethylene under UV‐A light and in soil. The nanomaterials work synergistically with alfalfa and soil microbes, achieving efficient plastic breakdown without trophic transfer.
