Microwave Amplifier Figure of Merit Measurement

open access: yesMeasurement Science Review, 2008
In this paper the figure of merit of microwave amplifier is measured. They are gain, 1 dB compression point and two tone third order intercept products. The measurement setup as well as method of measurement is shown. The measured amplifier can be used for student laboratory exercise as well as for scientific research.
