Neural Fields for Highly Accelerated 2D Cine Phase Contrast MRI
ABSTRACT 2D cine phase contrast (CPC) MRI provides quantitative information on blood velocity and flow within the human vasculature. However, data acquisition is time‐consuming, motivating the reconstruction of the velocity field from undersampled measurements to reduce scan times. In this work, neural fields are proposed as a continuous spatiotemporal

Lactate in cervical cancer induces HNRNPU K181 lactylation, opposed by NAA50‐mediated acetylation and suppressed by Pazopanib. This lactylation enhances HNRNPU binding to PHGDH pre‐mRNA exon 1, maintaining exon 1‐containing transcripts and mRNA stability, thereby activating serine metabolism.

When a master transcription factor (TF) is lost, bacteria can rapidly rewire gene regulatory networks by co‐opting related regulators. Using experimental evolution in Pseudomonas fluorescens, we show that TF promiscuity (low‐level, non‐cognate binding) provides the raw material for rewiring. Successful co‐option follows a predictable hierarchy governed

Natural Variation of NAR5 Determines Nitrogenase Activity and the Yield in Soybean
This study identified NAR5, a gene encoding a subtilisin‐like protease, that regulates nitrogenase activity in soybean nodules. Overexpressing NAR5 delayed nodule senescence, enhancing nitrogenase activity, yield, and low‐nitrogen tolerance. The elite haplotype NAR5HapI‐1 linked to superior nitrogenase activity and greater seed weight has been ...

ACM SIGMETRICS Performance Evaluation Review, 1975
There are different ways to compute figures of merit (FOM). You may use Morris' [1] or Merrill's method [2] or create any new one. But, in my opinion, that does not answer the question whether these numbers are nonsense or not.

Figures of merit for color scanners
IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 1997In the design and evaluation of color scanners and cameras, it is useful to have a single figure of merit that closely agrees with perceived color accuracy. In the past, several measures of goodness for color scanning filters have been proposed to fulfil such a requirement.

A figure of merit for assertions in verification
Proceedings of the 24th Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference, 2019Assertion quality is critical to the confidence and claims in a design's verification. In current practice, there is no metric to evaluate assertions. We introduce a methodology to rank register transfer level (RTL) assertions. We define assertion importance and assertion complexity and present efficient algorithms to compute them.
