Reconfigurable filtenna for cognitive radio applications [PDF]
In order to improve the efficiency of the spectrum usage (available idle spectrum), cognitive radio devices should identify their environment, work in conjunction with other cognitive radio devices, and reconfigure themselves.

Design of Novel Filtenna for Wireless Applications
In this paper, a novel design based on a dual-mode ring resonator, the filtering balun, feeding the printed dipole antenna, the filter balun antenna (FBA), is presented. One port on the structure allows the signals to be phase-shifted 180 degrees from one unbalanced port to two balanced signals.
