Weak statistical convergence and weak filter convergence for unbounded sequences
First, the authors give a refinement of the result due to \textit{R.\,Aron, D.\,García} and \textit{M.\,Maestre} [J.~Convex Anal.\ 16, 667--672 (2009; Zbl 1191.46014)] that in every separable Banach space \(X\) there is a weakly dense sequence that tends to infinity in norm.

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Convergence analysis of a family of robust Kalman filters based on the contraction principle
In this paper we analyze the convergence of a family of robust Kalman filters. For each filter of this family the model uncertainty is tuned according to the so called tolerance parameter.

A performance comparison of fullband and different subband adaptive equalisers [PDF]
We present two different fractionally spaced (FS) equalisers based on subband methods, with the aim of reducing the computational complexity and increasing the convergence rate of a standard fullband FS equaliser.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

On Fast Converging Data-Selective Adaptive Filtering [PDF]
The amount of information currently generated in the world has been increasing exponentially, raising the question of whether all acquired data is relevant for the learning algorithm process. If a subset of the data does not bring enough innovation, data-selection strategies can be employed to reduce the computational complexity cost and, in many cases,

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

A novel variational Bayesian adaptive Kalman filter with mismatched process noise covariance matrix
This paper proposes a novel variational Bayesian (VB) adaptive Kalman filter with mismatched process noise covariance matrix (PNCM). Firstly, this paper explains the reason why the predicted error covariance matrix (PECM) is chosen for variational ...

In this work, we have present a new form of sets named - open sets. We have study and described some of the properties and relationships between these sets. We have obtained some results and relationships between by the theories inferring through the style set (n-open).
