Performance of Reconstruction Algorithm Based on Sub-Nyquist Bandpass Sampling in the Pulse Position Modulation-Ultra Wide Band System

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2015
The signal reconstruction algorithm with sub-Nyquist bandpass sampling in Pulse Position Modulation-Ultra Wide Band (PPM-UWB) signal processing is analyzed based on PPM-UWB signal demodulation.

Active plasmon injection scheme for subdiffraction imaging with imperfect negative index flat lens

open access: yes, 2017
We present an active physical implementation of the recently introduced plasmon injection loss compensation scheme for Pendry's non-ideal negative index flat lens in the presence of realistic material losses and signal-dependent noise.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Application of adaptive filter in fruit quality inspection based on its acoustic properties

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2003
The fruit quality inspecting system consisted of a electromagnet, a striking ball wrapped in rubber, a sensor with 2 microphones at a distance of 0.06 m, a set of signal processing circuit, and a computer with a data acquisition board.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Generalized Sampling on Graphs With Subspace and Smoothness Priors

open access: yes, 2019
We propose a framework for generalized sampling of graph signals that parallels sampling in shift-invariant (SI) subspaces. This framework allows for arbitrary input signals, which are not constrained to be bandlimited.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Detecting Network Intrusions Using Signal Processing with Query-Based Sampling Filter

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2008
This paper presents a novel approach for training a network intrusion detection system based on a query-based sampling (QBS) filter. The proposed QBS filter applies the concepts of data quantization to signal processing in order to develop a novel ...
