A New ECG Signal Processing Method Based on Wide-Band Notch Filter
2020 IEEE Conference of Russian Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EIConRus), 2020This article presents the task of ECG signal processing a wide-band notch filter. It is proposed to use a cascade wide-band notch filter. The proposed method allows us to increase the accuracy of ECG signal processing and reduce wide-band electrical noise. The effectiveness proposed method for ECG signal processing by experimental results is considered.

Robust, Automated Methods for Filtering and Processing Neural Signals
2013This dissertation presents novel tools for robust filtering and processing of neural signals. These tools improve upon existing methods and were shown to be effective under a variety of conditions. They are also simple to use, allowing researchers and clinicians to focus more time on the analysis of neural data and making many tasks accessible to non ...

Synthesis of multifunction optical filter based on digital signal processing method
Optical and Quantum Electronics, 2017By a digital signal processing method, a multifunction optical filter is synthesized. The filter is formed by a Mach–Zehnder interferometer with two cascaded double-ring resonators and a single-ring resonator on the two arms respectively. It can operate as a symmetrical interleaver, an asymmetrical interleaver with arbitrary duty cycles, a notch filter

Physiological Measurement, 2015
A photoplethysmographic (PPG) signal can provide very useful information about a subject's cardiovascular status. Motion artifacts (MAs), which usually deteriorate the waveform of a PPG signal, severely obstruct its applications in the clinical diagnosis and healthcare area.

A time-varying signal processing method for Coriolis mass flowmeter based on adaptive filter
Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control, 2016In this paper, the normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm, a time-varying signal processing method, is employed in a Coriolis mass flowmeter (CFM) to improve its weak anti-jamming capability. Initially, the fundamental principles of the NLMS algorithm adopted in the adaptive filter are analysed. Then, the NLMS algorithm is applied to analyse the

Communication Signal Pre-Processing in Impulsive Noise: A Bandpass Myriad Filtering-Based Method
IEEE Communications Letters, 2018In impulsive noise modeled as symmetric $\alpha $ -stable ( ${\mathrm{S\alpha S}}$ ) distribution, it is known that signal processing techniques performed in bandpass can generally achieve better performance than in baseband. In this letter, we propose a bandpass myriad filtering-based pre-processing method for a communication receiver in ${

A design complexity comparison method for loop-based signal processing algorithms: particle filters
2004 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37512), 2004This paper presents a method for evaluating design complexity of a class of algorithms with characteristics that are common for many loop-based signal processing real-time applications. The method is not only used for evaluations, but can also be transformed to the actual implementation. The model transforms the data-flow structure of the algorithms to

Adaptive notch filter-based signal processing method and system for vortex flowmeters
Review of Scientific Instruments, 2001In this Note the vortex sensor signal is modeled as a narrow band process, and the frequency of the vortex sensor signal is measured by the means of adaptive notch filtering. A real time processing system based on a digital signal processor is developed.

Subsection-filtering method applied in optoelectronic signal processing of the liquid drop analyzer
SPIE Proceedings, 2010Liquid drop fingerprint can be obtained through fiber-capacitive drop analysis technology as the fiber signal changes with the drop volume which can be represented by the capacitive signal during the drop growth. However, if the fiber or capacitive signals are filtered by the normal low-pass filter method, the fingerprint would be distorted because ...
