A Planar Balanced-to-Balanced Power Divider With Wideband Filtering Responses and Common-Mode Suppressions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, a balanced-to-balanced power divider with a wideband filtering function is proposed. The power divider is simply composed of coupled-line sections, λ/4 lines and isolation resistors, and explicit design methodology is given.

Design of the Filtering Power Divider With Highly-Selective Bandpass Filters

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper proposes a power divider with integrated filtering characteristics. To enhance selectivity at the two output ports, T-shaped grounded transmission lines are incorporated into the series-connected parallel-coupled lines of the bandpass filter.

Filtering power divider with good isolation performance

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2014
A filtering power divider (PD) with good isolation performance is presented. The isolation performance is improved by introducing a distributed isolation network (DINW) to replace the conventional resistor isolation network. Moreover, the proposed DINW can be incorporated into a filter design to form a filtering PD.

Three‐Way Wideband Filtering Power Dividers With Enhanced Power Dividing Ratio and High Isolation

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation
ABSTRACT In this paper, a novel topology for the multiway filtering power divider with a large power dividing ratio (PDR) is proposed. A three‐line coupled structure and a λ/2 open‐ended stub are introduced between the input port and the power dividing junction to reduce the requirement for high impedance in the low‐power path and ...

Wideband filtering power divider with high selectivity

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2015
A wideband filtering power divider (PD) with high selectivity is introduced, based on a terminated coupled line structure. The bandwidth tuning, isolation and impedance matching performances optimisation are presented and explained.

Nonreciprocal filtering power dividers

open access: yesAEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2021
We propose the concept of nonreciprocal filtering power dividers, which are compact devices able to merge the functionalities of power dividers and combiners, the selectivity of bandpass filters, and magnetless nonreciprocity from time-modulation. A prototype of this type of devices operating at microwaves has been implemented in microstrip technology.

RF Reflectionless Filtering Power Dividers

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2019
A new class of Wilkinson-type power dividers with co-integrated bandpass-filter (BPF) functionality and input-reflectionless behavior is presented. They make use of a resistively terminated bandstop-filter (BSF) branch that is connected at their input terminal and exhibits a quasi-complementary transfer function with regard to the ones of the BPF-type ...
