Influence of the Main Filter on QRS-amplitude and Duration in Human Electrocardiogram

open access: yesMeasurement Science Review, 2019
Accurate measurement of electrocardiograms (ECG) is critical for effective diagnosis of patient’s cardiac functions. Detailed examination of filters’ effects on ECG accuracy, reproducibility and robustness covering a wide range of available commercial ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Metal Mesh Metasurfaces as Dual-Band Bandpass Filters for Terahertz Frequencies

open access: yesAdvanced Electromagnetics
In the paper, we propose a new strategy to design of metal mesh filters (MMFs) based on spatial symmetry analysis of bound states in the continuum(BICs) and manipulating and control with resonances, when BICs transformed to the resonances due to spatial

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

An Exploration of Ideals and Filters in Triangle Algebras

open access: yesAxioms
In the study of algebraic structures related to logical systems, ideals and filters have different meanings and are algebraic notions related to logical provable formulas.

Studies on Particulate Matter Emission in CFB Boiler- A Review

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Sciences, 2022
The particulate matter (PM) emissions involve solids or liquid particles suspended in a gas, most found in the earth’s atmosphere. One of the major sources of PM emissions is the Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) and Pulverized Fuel fired (PF) boilers, IC ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Reduction of effluents from water supply stations to surface water bodies

open access: yesJournal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management, 2005
Polluted water from many water‐supply stations of the Ukraine gets into surface water bodies, trenches and ponds. Such water contains chlororganic compounds and coagulants that fail to biodegrade and get into the human body within the nutrition chain and

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...
