In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

CROSSFLOW MICROFILTRATION OF CHLORELLA SP. SUSPENSIONS
A kind of algae, Chlorella sp., is concentrated using plane-sheet crossflow microfiltration in this study. The Chlorella sp. cells with sizes ranging from 3 to 12 µm were filtered using a 0.1 µm membrane made of mixed cellulose ester.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Filtrations for Projective Modules
Let G be a finite group, N a normal subgroup of G and k a field. Let \(\tilde G=G/N\). The authors prove that there is a kG-module M such that, whenever L is a \(k\tilde G\)-module which has projective covers Q and \(\tilde Q\) as a kG-module and as a \(k\tilde G\)-module respectively, then Q and \(\tilde Q\otimes M\) have the same composition factors.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Simulation of nano fibers and filtration processes
S.719-749Nano filtration media have become increasingly interesting for filtration applications. The benefit of using nano fibers is the improvement with respect to filter efficiency and the relatively low pressure drop due to the nano slip.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...
