A Consistent Pricing Model for Index Options and Volatility Derivatives [PDF]

open access: yes
We propose and study a flexible modeling framework for the joint dynamics of an index and a set of forward variance swap rates written on this index, allowing options on forward variance swaps and options on the underlying index to be priced consistently.

IL4I1⁺ Macrophages and TDO2⁺ Myofibroblasts Drive AhR‐Mediated Immunosuppression and Ferroptosis Resistance in Solid Predominant Lung Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Solid predominant lung adenocarcinoma exhibits an immune‐excluded, ferroptosis‐resistant niche enriched with IL4I1⁺ TAMs and TDO2⁺ myCAFs. Spatial and multi‐omics analyses reveal AhR‐driven crosstalk that promotes T cell exhaustion and therapy resistance. Blocking AhR with CH‐223191 restores ferroptosis sensitivity, and its combination with ferroptosis

Histological study of the dynamics in epidermis regeneration of the carp tail fin (Cyprinus carpio, Linnaeus, 1758)

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Biology
Teleostean fins when partially amputated suffer a regenerative process called epimorphic regeneration, characterized by the following stages: healing, based on the formation of a multistratified epidermal layer, the formation of a mass of pluripotent ...

Bio‐Inspired Micro‐Fin‐Assisted Multi‐Modal Vascular Intervention

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A magnetic guidewire with a micro‐fin–integrated tip is introduced for multimodal cardiovascular navigation. The micro‐fins exploit fluid drag to augment magnetic torque, enabling bifurcation traversal at 15 mT, tolerating 45° misalignment, bidirectional crawling, and buckle self‐correction.

Pirin Transcriptionally Regulates PLA2G4A To Inhibit Ferroptosis in Colorectal Cancer via Lipid Profile Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies Pirin (PIR), an iron‐binding protein, as a critical ferroptosis suppressor in colorectal cancer through lipid membrane remodeling. PIR, induced by NRF2 during ferroptotic stress, transcriptionally regulates PLA2G4A to shift cellular lipid composition away from ferroptosis‐permissive polyunsaturated phospholipids.
