Rancang Bangun Sistem Pengendalian Dynamic Fin Stabilizer Untuk Reduksi Gerak Roll Pada Kapal

open access: yes, 2023

Multimodal Locomotion in Insect‐Inspired Microrobots: A Review of Strategies for Aerial, Surface, Aquatic, and Interfacial Motion

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This review identifies key design considerations for insect‐inspired microrobots capable of multimodal locomotion. To draw inspiration, biological and robotic strategies for moving in air, on water surfaces, and underwater are examined, along with approaches for crossing the air–water interface.

Nonlinear modelling of a fishing boat and Fuzzy Logic Control design for electro-hydraulic fin stabilizer system

open access: yes, 2014
The aim of this study is to decrease a fishing boat's nonlinear roll motion using Electro-Hydraulic (EH) fin roll stabilizer, which is adversely affected by disturbing hydrodynamic forces, by applying fin roll stabilizer.

SQUID FINS PRODUCE LIFT, THRUST AND STABILITY [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Biology, 2010
Squid are remarkably versatile swimmers. While most fish find it difficult to reverse, squid are equally happy going backward and forward, swimming tail first at high speeds but arms first when hovering and swimming slowly to survey the area.

Printable Conductive Hydrogels for Electrochemical Biosensing and Soft Bioelectronic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Flexible, conductive hydrogels that integrate printability, mechanical tunability, biocompatibility, and electronic performance remain challenging to achieve. Here, we develop 3D‐printable poly(ethylene glycol)–poly(pyrrole)‐ hydrogels with tissue‐like mechanics, high cytocompatibility, and robust electrochemical function.

Two Routes to Land: Genomic Underpinnings of Parallel Aerial Egg Deposition in Aquatic Old‐World Pila and New‐World Pomacea (Ampullariidae)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Comparative genomics of Gondwana‐diverged Pila and Pomacea reveals parallel evolution of aerial oviposition. Convergent chromosomal rearrangements reshape regulatory landscapes within topologically associating domains. Lineage‐specific gene family expansions and viral‐derived perivitelline proteins (PV1) underpin desiccation resistance.

A Computational Strategy for Identifying Self‐Assembling Food‐Derived Molecules for Antiparasitic Nanotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated computational screening strategy identified ursolic acid (UA) and 18β‐glycyrrhetinic acid (18βGA) as a self‐assembling food‐derived molecular pair. The resulting carrier‐free nanoparticles (UA‐18βGA) showed synergistic antiparasitic activity, reduced combined toxicity, and host‐protective anti‐inflammatory effects in zebrafish and murine ...

Thermal stability of germanium-tin (GeSn) fins [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Physics Letters, 2017
We investigate the thermal stability of germanium-tin (Ge1−xSnx) fins under rapid thermal annealing in N2 ambient. The Ge1−xSnx fins were formed on a GeSn-on-insulator substrate and were found to be less thermally stable than blanket Ge1−xSnx films. The morphology change and material quality of the annealed Ge1−xSnx fin are investigated using scanning ...
