Existence and continuous dependence of nonlocal final value problem with Caputo-Hadamard derivative

open access: bronzeAzerbaijan Journal of Mathematics
Summary: In this paper, we demonstrate the existence of a global solution to the problems with the final condition containing the Caputo-Hadamard derivative of order \(p \in (0,1)\). In particular, the uniqueness of the solution is proven when the source function satisfies the Lipschitz condition.

Operational WKB solution to the initial/final-value problem for Beechem-Haas equations.

open access: greenElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1999
Summary: Operational and Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) methods are utilized to obtain an analytical approximate solution of the Beechem-Haas equation for the initial/final-value problem with system parameters of radial profile. The Beechem-Haas equation herein is expanded from its traditional form, which determines its solutions in a spherical ...

A Final Value Problem with a Non-local and a Source Term: Regularization by Truncation [PDF]

open access: hybridJournal of Optimization Theory and Applications
AbstractThis paper is concerned with recovering the solution of a final value problem associated with a parabolic equation involving a non linear source and a non-local term, which to the best of our knowledge has not been studied earlier. It is shown that the considered problem is ill-posed, and thus, some regularization method has to be employed in ...

The Accuracy of the Approximate Solutions to a Boundary Value Inverse Problem with Final Overdetermination

open access: diamondJournal of Computational and Engineering Mathematics
Summary: The aim of the paper is to investigate the accuracy of the methods for approximate solving a boundary value inverse problem with final overdetermination for a parabolic equation. We use the technique of the continuation to the complex domain and the expansion of the unknown function into a Dirichlet series (exponential series) to formulate the

Solution to the Initial-Final Value Problem for a Non-Stationary Leontief Type System

open access: diamondJournal of Computational and Engineering Mathematics, 2019
The article is devoted to the construction of a solution to the initial-final value problem for a non-stationary Leontief type system. Such systems take place in dynamic balance models of the economy. A distinctive feature of Leontief type systems is the degeneracy of the matrix at the time derivative, due to the fact that some types of resources of ...

Characterization of the value function of final state constrainedcontrol problems with BV trajectories

open access: greenCommunications on Pure and Applied Analysis, 2011
This paper aims to investigate a control problem governed by differential equations with Radon measure as data and with final state constraints. By using a known reparametrization method (by Dal Maso and Rampazzo [18]), we obtain that the value function can be characterized by means of an auxiliary control problem of absolutely continuous trajectories,

Controllability and optimal speed-in-action of linear systems with boundary conditions [PDF]

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2023
The paper proposes a method for solving the problem of optimal performance for linear systems of ordinary differential equations in the presence of phase and integral restrictions, when the initial and final states of the system are elements of ...

Approximation of inverse source problem for time fractional pseudo-parabolic equation in $L^p$ [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics and Computational Sciences, 2023
In this work, we focus on the final value problem of an inverse problem for the pseudo-parabolic equation. This study aims to provide a regularization method for this equation, once the measurement data are obtained at the final time in $L^{r}(0,\pi ...

Mixed inverse problem for a Benney–Luke type integro-differential equation with two redefinition functions and parameters

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2023
In this paper, we consider a linear Benney–Luke type partial integro-differential equation of higher order with degenerate kernel and two redefinition functions given at the endpoint of the segment and two parameters.
