HTAC: Fine-Grained Policy-Hiding and Traceable Access Control in mHealth

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
As an emerging cryptographic primitive, Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) is suitable for the owner to share his personal health records (PHRs) in mobile healthcare systems (mHealth).

Fine-grain access control for distributed shared memory [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the sixth international conference on Architectural support for programming languages and operating systems, 1994
This paper discusses implementations of fine-grain memory access control, which selectively restricts reads and writes to cache-block-sized memory regions. Fine-grain access control forms the basis of efficient cache-coherent shared memory. This paper focuses on low-cost implementations that require little or no additional hardware.

Analysis of Classical Encryption Techniques in Cloud Computing

open access: yesTsinghua Science and Technology, 2016
Cloud computing has become a significant computing model in the IT industry. In this emerging model, computing resources such as software, hardware, networking, and storage can be accessed anywhere in the world on a pay-per-use basis.

Access Policy Sheet for Access Control in Fine-Grained XML [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We propose an access control scheme for developing authorization rules for XML documents, allowing flexible data granularity and authorization propagation. To simplify the complex access control policies in XML, we introduce a new tool: Authorization Policy Sheet (APS). Complex access control rules can be easily described in an APS.

Towards Fine-Grained Access Control in JavaScript Contexts [PDF]

open access: yes2011 31st International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems, 2011
A typical Web 2.0 application usually includes JavaScript from various sources with different trust. It is critical to properly regulate JavaScript's access to web application resources. Unfortunately, existing protection mechanisms in web browsers do not provide enough granularity in JavaScript access control.

Modelling Fine-Grained Access Control Policies in Grids [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Grid Computing, 2015
This paper presents an abstract specification of an enforcement mechanism of usage control for Grids, and verifies formally that such mechanism enforces UCON policies. Our technique is based on KAOS, a goal-oriented requirements engineering methodology with a formal LTL-based language and semantics. KAOS is used in a bottom-up form.

Vigiles: Fine-Grained Access Control for MapReduce Systems [PDF]

open access: yes2014 IEEE International Congress on Big Data, 2014
Security concerns surrounding the rise of Big Data systems have stimulated myriad new Big Data security models and implementations over the past few years. A significant disadvantage shared by most of these implementations is that they customize the underlying system source code to enforce new policies, making the customizations difficult to maintain ...

Multi-Level Attribute-Based Encryption Access Control Scheme for Big Data

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
There are many security threats such as data’s confidentiality and privacy protection in the new application scenario of big data processing, and for the problems such as coarse granularity and low sharing capability existing in the current research on ...

What Do Large Language Models Know About Materials?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
If large language models (LLMs) are to be used inside the material discovery and engineering process, they must be benchmarked for the accurateness of intrinsic material knowledge. The current work introduces 1) a reasoning process through the processing–structure–property–performance chain and 2) a tool for benchmarking knowledge of LLMs concerning ...

FGAC: A Fine-Grained Access Control Framework for Supply Chain Data Sharing

open access: yesSystems, 2022
With the rapid development of digital economics, a large number of data have been accumulated in the supply chain system, and data islands have appeared. Data sharing is an imperative way to unlock the data value of a supply chain system.
