The use of steel slag as aggregate in concrete is one environmentally friendly method to reduce the detrimental consequences of the depletion of natural mineral resources. The behavior of steel slag sand concrete (SSC) under compression is examined in this paper. A set of cube tests under compression are reported, with the results evaluated.
