On the Prospects for African Philosophy in Australia
ABSTRACT This paper grapples with the situation of people of African descent in Australia by working through the constitution of the body of academic philosophy in the country. It contends with the parochialism of the Australian philosophical community and the prospects for the cultivation of greater pluralism. Taking African philosophy as one possible

Sulfur‐mediated electron redistribution and proton‐directed transfer at the Cu‐Co interface significantly boost electrocatalytic NO reduction to NH3 over the S‐Cu@Co/C catalyst. The changes in the electronic structure of Cu and Co promote NO adsorption and water dissociation.

An Electrochemical Sensor for Tenofovir Monitoring
A novel laser‐scribed graphene/ gold spiky nanostructures/molecularly imprinted polymer electrochemical sensor is developed for sensitive and selective detection of tenofovir (TFV) to support human immunodeficiency virus adherence monitoring. It showed a broad linear range (10 nM–200 μM), low detection limit (3 nM), and high recovery (92.5%–113%) in ...

Spatially Engineered Ternary Schottky/S‐Scheme Heterojunctions for Artificial Photosynthesis
A spatially integrated Nb2C/Nb2O5/ZnO heterostructure couples Schottky and S‐scheme interfaces to promote directional charge separation and photothermal‐assisted CO2 activation, enabling efficient photoreduction without molecular cocatalysts or sacrificial agents through synergistic interfacial engineering and carrier dynamic control.

Key molecular intermediates formed in the early stages of carbon nanodot (CND) formation from arginine and ethylenediamine were identified. The resulting CNDs were isolated and thoroughly characterized by several techniques. Multi‐detection gel permeation chromatography enabled absolute determination of the molecular weight, dispersity, and ...

Polyvinyl Alcohol‐Based Cryogels: Design, Characterization, and In Vitro Biological Studies
ABSTRACT Using inappropriate wound dressings makes the wound prone to bacteria invasion, impeding the wound‐healing process. In this work, cryogels were prepared from selected polymers, such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC), and sodium alginate (SA) via a freeze–thaw method and loaded with Capparis sepiaria plant extract ...

We assessed lactation productivity in dairy cows when replacing alfalfa hay with barley silage. A 50% replacement increased feed intake, whereas total replacement improved nutrient conversion to milk. Barley silage can effectively replace alfalfa hay, enhancing sustainability and resilience in dairy production amid forage quality constraints and market
