Fine points in mapping autoimmunity
Nature Genetics, 2011An efficient way to design genotyping arrays for fine mapping is to group phenotypes with common biology. The first application of the Immunochip to celiac disease provides an insightful view of what this strategy can achieve.

Limits of fine‐mapping a quantitative trait
Genetic Epidemiology, 2003AbstractOnce a significant linkage is found, an important goal is reducing the error in the estimated location of the linked locus. A common approach to reducing location error, called fine‐mapping, is the genotyping of additional markers in the linked region to increase the genetic information.

Fine mapping of human HOX gene clusters
Cytogenetic and Genome Research, 1996The chromosome localization of human HOX gene clusters has been reinvestigated by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Three loci were precisely localized in 7p15.3 (HOXA@), 17q21.3 (HOXB@) and 12ql3.3 (HOXC@). The localization of HOXD@ was confirmed to 2q31.
