Optical properties of elliptical gold nanotubes with a nonconcentric core
Based on the finite difference time domain method, the effects of geometrical parameters, refractive indices of core and embedding medium and polarization directions of incident light on the optical properties of elliptical gold nanotubes with a ...

Reduced Graphene Oxide Transparent Electrodes Enabling Compact Soft Tunable Lenses
By spray‐coating an elastomeric membrane with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) at various surface densities, elastomeric actuators are manufactured. Electro‐mechano‐optical characterizations show the suitability of rGO as an effective material for compliant, semi‐transparent electrodes, enabling soft electrically tunable lenses with a compact form factor ...

Finite difference method for time-space-fractional Schrödinger equation
In this paper, an implicit finite difference scheme for the nonlinear time-space-fractional Schrödinger equation is presented. It is shown that the implicit scheme is unconditionally stable with experimental convergence order of O(τ2−α+h2), where τ and h

Time‐Resolved Magnetization Switching Dynamics Driven by Orbital Torques
Du et al. reveal nanosecond magnetization switching driven by orbital currents using time‐resolved Hall detection. The measurements separate domain nucleation from domain wall propagation and show that Joule heating strongly assists switching by lowering energy barriers.
