On energetically optimal finite-time stabilization [PDF]

open access: yes2021 60th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2021
The problem of finite-time stabilization of a linear plant with an optimization of both a settling time and an weighted/averaged control energy is studied using the concept of generalized homogeneity. It is shown that the optimal finite-time stabilizing control in this case can be designed solving a simple linear algebraic equation.

Finite time stability and sliding mode control for uncertain variable fractional order nonlinear systems

open access: yes, 2021
This paper deals with the finite time stability and control for a class of uncertain variable fractional order nonlinear systems. The variable fractional Lyapunov direct method is developed to provide the basis for the stability proof of the system ...

Finite-time stability results for fractional damped dynamical systems with time delays

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2022
This paper is explored with the stability procedure for linear nonautonomous multiterm fractional damped systems involving time delay. Finite-time stability (FTS) criteria have been developed based on the extended form of Gronwall inequality.

Finite-time stability of q-fractional damped difference systems with time delay

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, we investigate and obtain a new discrete q-fractional version of the Gronwall inequality. As applications, we consider the existence and uniqueness of the solution of q-fractional damped difference systems with time delay.

Finite‐Time Robust Stabilization for Stochastic Neural Networks [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
This paper is concerned with the finite‐time stabilization for a class of stochastic neural networks (SNNs) with noise perturbations. The purpose of the addressed problem is to design a nonlinear stabilizator which can stabilize the states of neural networks in finite time. Compared with the previous references, a continuous stabilizator is designed to

Finite-time stability of multiterm fractional nonlinear systems with multistate time delay

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
This work is mainly concentrated on finite-time stability of multiterm fractional system for 0 < α 2 ≤ 1 < α 1 ≤ 2 $0 < \alpha _{2} \leq 1 < \alpha _{1} \leq 2$ with multistate time delay.

Finite-time stabilization under state constraints

open access: yes2021 60th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2021
The problem of finite-time stabilization of linear systems under state and control input constraints in the presence of external disturbances is addressed. The proposed control is designed such that the closed-loop system is 1) superstable, when system trajectories risk to violate the state constraints, and 2) homogeneous with a negative degree ...

Robust Finite-Time Control Algorithm Based on Dynamic Sliding Mode for Satellite Attitude Maneuver

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
Robust finite-time control algorithms for satellite attitude maneuvers are proposed in this paper. The standard sliding mode is modified, hence the inherent robustness could be maintained, and this fixed sliding mode is modified to dynamic, therefore the

Predefined Time Synchronization of Multi-Agent Systems: A Passivity Based Analysis

open access: yesSensors, 2023
This paper deals with the predefined-time synchronization for a class of nonlinear multi-agent systems. The notion of passivity is exploited to design the controller for predefined-time synchronization of a nonlinear multi-agent system, where the time of
