Finite time stabilization of delayed neural networks
Neural Networks, 2015In this paper, the problem of finite time stabilization for a class of delayed neural networks (DNNs) is investigated. The general conditions on the feedback control law are provided to ensure the finite time stabilization of DNNs. Then some specific conditions are derived by designing two different controllers which include the delay-dependent and ...

Finite‐time attitude stabilization for rigid spacecraft
International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2013SUMMARYThis paper investigates the finite‐time attitude stabilization problem for rigid spacecraft in the presence of inertia uncertainties and external disturbances. Three nonsingular terminal sliding mode (NTSM) controllers are designed to make the spacecraft system converge to its equilibrium point or a region around its equilibrium point in finite ...

Finite-time stability and stabilization of LPV systems
2016 35th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2016This paper deals with the finite-time stability analysis and design problems for Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) systems. First, we extend the concept of the finite-time stability to LPV systems. Then, sufficient conditions for finite-time stability are presented by using Lyapunov-like functions.

Finite-time stabilization of uncertain MIMO systems
53rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2007Any uncertain smooth multi-input multi-output dynamic system of a full relative degree can be locally finitetime stabilized at its equilibrium point by means of a standard continuous feedback, provided an approximation of the partial-derivatives' matrix of highest order total output derivatives with respect to controls is available. Homogeneous sliding-

Finite time stability of nonlinear systems
42nd IEEE International Conference on Decision and Control (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37475), 2004Finite time stability is defined for non autonomous non linear systems. Starting with the proof of an old result from Haimo which gives necessary and sufficient condition for autonomous scalar systems, then we extend this result to n-dimensional systems through the use of Liapunov functions and (here the obtained results are less restrictives).

Further results concerning finite-time stability
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1969Weiss and Infante [1], [2] developed sufficient conditions for finite-time stability of a vector differential equation. It is shown here that some of their theorems actually imply the stronger property of uniform finite-time stability. A theorem is presented which gives sufficient conditions for stability but not necessarily uniform stability.

Finite-time stability of delayed systems
IMA Journal of Mathematical Control and Information, 2000Investigating system stability from a non-Lyapunov point of view, the authors extend some fundamental results from the area of finite-time and practical stability to linear continuous time-invariant delayed systems. For a particular class of autonomous delayed systems, sufficient conditions for this kind of stability are derived.
