Robust finite-time chaos synchronization of uncertain permanent magnet synchronous motors

ISA Transactions, 2015
In this paper, a robust finite-time chaos synchronization scheme is proposed for two uncertain third-order permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs). The whole synchronization error system is divided into two cascaded subsystems: a first-order subsystem and a second-order subsystem. For the first subsystem, we design a finite-time controller based on

Finite-Time Task-Space Synchronization of Networked Robotic Manipulators

2020 IEEE 16th International Conference on Control & Automation (ICCA), 2020
This paper studies finite-time task-space synchronization of networked manipulators with uncertain kinematics, dynamics and disturbances. Different from [8]–[12] that provide asymptotic convergence and require all the robots to have fully access to the desired global task reference, this paper proposes a distributed estimation and control framework to ...

Finite-time and fixed-time stability and synchronization

2016 35th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2016
Recently, finite-time and fixed-time stability has been a hot topic in the study of dynamical systems. In this paper, we will provide an insightful view on this issue and explore the intrinsic property by mathematical analysis. Several theorems and corollaries show how to find the settling time. Moreover, we apply the corresponding theory on the finite-

Finite-time synchronization of memristive hyperchaotic systems

2017 International Workshop on Complex Systems and Networks (IWCSN), 2017
In our research, we will discuss the synchronization of memristive Chua system in finite time, we design the discontinuous controller to realize the synchronization of two the chaotic memristive Chua systems via Lyapunov stability theory and finite-time stability theory. The numerical case is given to show the superiority of the proposed results.

Finite-time synchronization of delayed neural networks

2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC), 2017
A sliding mode control approach is proposed to synchronize a class of delayed neural networks in a finite time, where the mismatched parameters and neuron activation functions are taken into account. In the controller design, a sliding mode manifold is directly defined by the synchronization error, which greatly reduces the synchronization time.

Finite-Time Consensus based Clock Synchronization by Discontinuous Control

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2012
Abstract In this paper we develop a decentralized discontinuous algorithm which guarantees the finite time synchronization of a network of clocks, which are modeled as continuous-time integrators and are subject to unknown-but-bounded time-varying disturbances.

Finite-Time Self-Organized-Criticality on Synchronized Infinite Grids

SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2018
The problem is well known (i.e., investigation of self-organized dynamical systems) but what is new here is that the considered model is defined as an impulsive evolution process over a space-time synchronized infinite grid. The system is defined by the mean of a multi-index of order four which pictures the structural complexity of the system. The long-
