Suppose that f is a transcendental entire function, V⊊ C is a simply connected domain, and U is a connected component of f- 1(V). Using Riemann maps, we associate the map f: U→ V to an inner function g: D→ D. It is straightforward to see that g is either

Partition Functions and Mass Action Constants of Plasmas of Light Elements at Higher Temperatures
ABSTRACT We first analyze the relations between the work of Planck and Klimontovich and show that Klimontovich's kinetic theory of non‐ideal plasmas confirms Planck's partition function for the hydrogen plasma. We discuss and check the Planck‐Brillouin‐Larkin (PBL) expressions for Hydrogen with PIMC calculations and derive new partition functions and ...

Finite Blaschke products: a survey
A finite Blaschke product is a product of finitely many automorphisms of the unit disk. This brief survey covers some of the main topics in the area, including characterizations of Blaschke products, approximation theorems, derivatives and residues of ...

Blaschke products and singular functions with prescribed boundary values
This paper shows that there exists a Blaschke product having a prescribed radial limit at each point of a prescribed finite subset of the unit circle.

On linearization and uniqueness of preduals
Abstract We study strong linearizations and the uniqueness of preduals of locally convex Hausdorff spaces of scalar‐valued functions. Strong linearizations are special preduals. A locally convex Hausdorff space F(Ω)$\mathcal {F}(\Omega)$ of scalar‐valued functions on a nonempty set Ω$\Omega$ is said to admit a strong linearization if there are a ...

Classification of some finite Blaschke products as metric endomorphisms
It is shown that for n = 1, 2, 3,…, 0 ⩽ t < 1, the Blaschke product zn(z − t)(1 − zt) restricted to the unit circle has Lebesgue measure theoretic entropy given by h = log12{(n + 1) + (n − 1) t2 + [(n + 1)2 − 2(n2 + 1) t2 + (n − 1)2 t4]12}.

Abstract Asbestos has been used extensively in several applications. Once it is known as a dangerous mineral, its usage has been prohibited and its identification and remediation play a very important role from the health safety point of view. Nowadays, deep learning techniques are used in many applications, especially for image analysis.

Truncated Toeplitz Operators on Finite Dimensional Spaces
In this paper, we study the matrix representations of compressions of Toeplitz operators to the finite dimensional model spaces H2ƟBH2, where B is a finite Blaschke product.

On the zeroes of solutions of an extremal problem in H1 [PDF]
For a non-zero function f in H1 , the classical Hardy space on the unit disc, we put Sf= {g E H1 : argf(i8 ) = argg(ei0) a.e. 0}. The intersection of Sf and the unit sphere in H1 is just a set of solutions of some extremal problem in H1 It is known that ...

Operator-valued rational functions
We show that every inner divisor of the operator-valued coordinate function, zI(E), is a Blaschke-Potapov factor. We also introduce a notion of operator-valued "rational " function and then show that delta is two-sided inner and rational if and
