On linearization and uniqueness of preduals
Abstract We study strong linearizations and the uniqueness of preduals of locally convex Hausdorff spaces of scalar‐valued functions. Strong linearizations are special preduals. A locally convex Hausdorff space F(Ω)$\mathcal {F}(\Omega)$ of scalar‐valued functions on a nonempty set Ω$\Omega$ is said to admit a strong linearization if there are a ...

Arens Regularity of Banach Function Algebras and Decomposable Blaschke Products whose Degree is a Power of 2 [PDF]
This thesis presents three pieces of work. Within the first two thirds of the thesis, we study Arens regularity of Banach algebras. We first study Arens regularity of weighted semigroup algebras that arise from totally ordered semilattices.

On the Fourier Coefficients of Powers of a Finite Blaschke Product
Abstract Given a finite Blaschke product $B$ we prove asymptotically sharp estimates on the $\ell ^{\infty }$-norm of the sequence of the Fourier coefficients of $B^{n}$ as $n$ tends to $\infty $. This norm decays as $n^{-1/N}$ for some $N\ge 3$.

Chebyshev-Blaschke products: Solutions to certain approximation problems and differential equations
In this paper, we study a special kind of finite Blaschke products called Chebyshev-Blaschke products f(n,) (tau) which can be defined by the Jacobi cosine function cd(u, tau), where tau is an element of R(+)i.

Algebras of Blaschke products unimodular on trivial parts
Let Ω be the set of all interpolating Blaschke products unimodular on the trivial Gleason parts of M(H∞ . Let Ωfi: be the subset of Ω consisting of elements having finitely many roots in each part except the open unit disk. Suppose E(resp.

In a recent joint work with Mingxi Wang, a version of Ritt's theory on the factorization of finite Blaschke products has been developed. In this Ritt's theory on the unit disk, a special class of finite Blaschke products has been introduced as the ...

The radial behavior of Blaschke products
The paper extends results of G. T. Cargo and of C. L. Belna, F. W. Carroll and G. Piranian on the existence of Blaschke products with prescribed radial limits at a prescribed finite or countable set of points on the unit circle. The extension permits the

The geometry of finite Blaschke products: some duality results (Computer Algebra --Theory and its Applications) [PDF]
We study geometrical properties of finite Blaschke products. For a Blaschke product B of degree d, the interior curve and the exterior curve are defined. Daepp et al. proved that the interior curve of B of degree 3 forms an ellipse.
