Ideal Molecular Sieving with a Dense MOF for Helium Upgrading with Highly Diffusion Selective Mixed Matrix Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Universal Latent Representation in Finite Ring Continuum

open access: yesEntropy
We propose a unified mathematical framework showing that the representational universality of modern foundational models arises from a shared finite latent domain.

Permutation binomials

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1990
A polynomial f over a finite feld F is a permutation polynomial if the mapping F→F defined by f is one-to-one. We are concerned here with binomials, that is, polynomials of the shape f=aXi+bXj+c, i>j≥1.

Visibly irreducible polynomials over finite fields

open access: yes, 2018
H. Lenstra has pointed out that a cubic polynomial of the form (x-a)(x-b)(x-c) + r(x-d)(x-e), where {a,b,c,d,e} is some permutation of {0,1,2,3,4}, is irreducible modulo 5 because every possible linear factor divides one summand but not the other.

Dual‐Mode Film Based on Highly Scattering Nanofibers and Upcycled Chips‐Bags for Year‐Round Thermal Management

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent radiative cooling devices, adaptable to various weather conditions, have the potential for year‐round energy savings. This study introduces a sustainable dual‐mode film made from polycaprolactone nanofibers and upcycled chip bags for effective thermal management.
