Challenges during Flash Lamp Annealing of Aerosol‐Deposited Barium Titanate Films

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Aerosol deposition is used to rapidly deposit barium titanate films with thicknesses ranging from 2 to 16 μm at room temperature, eliminating the need for further densification. However, to recover the electromechanical properties, annealing is required, which limits the usage of temperature‐sensitive substrates.

On the permutability of Sylow subgroups with derived subgroups of B-subgroups

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2019
A finite non-nilpotent group G is called a B-group if every proper subgroup of the quotient group  G/Φ(G) is nilpotent. We establish the r-solvability of the group in which some Sylow r-subgroup permutes with the derived subgroups of 2-nilpotent (or 2 ...

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Character expansiveness in finite groups [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Group Theory, 2013
We say that a finite group $G$ is conjugacy expansive if for anynormal subset $S$ and any conjugacy class $C$ of $G$ the normalset $SC$ consists of at least as many conjugacy classes of $G$ as$S$ does.

Achieving Large and Anisotropic Spin‐Mediated Thermal Transport in Textured Quantum Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
An advanced solvent‐cast cold pressing method is developed to synthesize highly textured quantum magnets. By aligning spin chains in Ca2CuO3 perpendicular to the pressing direction, a spin‐mediated thermal conductivity of 10 ± 1 W m⁻¹ K⁻¹ is achieved, the highest reported for polycrystalline quantum materials.

Analyzing Electronic Excitations and Exciton Binding Energies in Y6 Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The Y6 molecule is used for increasing the efficiency of organic solar cells. The exciton binding energy is calculated for ensembles of Y6 molecules that are representative of the typically used films. The calculations show that the excitons typically spread out over many molecules.

Active Thermal Field Integration for Marangoni‐Driven Salt Rejection and Water Collection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A thermal gradient fabric (TGF) evaporator with an auxiliary active thermal field can simultaneously increase evaporation rates and achieve long‐term salt rejection. The auxiliary active thermal field is well integrated with solar energy to construct moderate, extensive, and circulating Marangoni flow for salt rejection.

A Remark on Finite Groups [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1958
If G is a finite group and H is a subgroup of G then we say that H is a Frobenius subgroup of G if xHx-'nH5 (1) if and only if xeH. Concerning such Frobenius subgroups there is a celebrated theorem due to Frobenius [1] which asserts: let T= {aEGjaEfxHx-1 all xEG or a= 1 }; then T is a normal subgroup of G.

On Orbits of the Ring Zmn under Action of the Group SL(m, Zn)

open access: yesActa Polytechnica, 2005
We consider the action of the finite matrix group SL(m,Zn ) on the ring Zmn. We determine orbits of this action for n arbitrary natural number. It is a generalization of the task which was studied by A. A. Kirillov for m = 2 and n prime number.
