Finitely additive measures on 𝑁 and the additive property [PDF]
Finitely additive measures on N {\mathbf {N}} satisfying an approximation of countable additivity, called (AP), are studied. These measures are generalizations of p p -points. From a p p -point a translation invariant measure with (AP) is constructed.

Translation invariance and finite additivity in a probability measure on the natural numbers
Inspired by the two envelopes exchange paradox, a finitely additive probability measure m on the natural numbers is introduced. The measure is uniform in the sense that m({i})=m({j}) for all i,j∈ℕ.

Convergence and submeasures in Boolean algebras [PDF]
A Boolean algebra carries a strictly positive exhaustive submeasure if and only if it has a sequential topology that is uniformly Frechet.Comment: In memory of Bohuslav ...

Finitely additive and measurable stochastic games [PDF]
We consider two-person zero-sum stochastic games with arbitrary state and action spaces, a finitely additive law of motion and limit superior payoff function. The players use finitely additive strategies and the payoff function is evaluated in accordance with the theory of strategic measures as developed by Dubins and Savage.

Supermartingales as Radon-Nikodym densities and related measure extensions
Certain countably and finitely additive measures can be associated to a given nonnegative supermartingale. Under weak assumptions on the underlying probability space, existence and (non)uniqueness results for such measures are proven.Comment: Published ...

Existence of equilibria in countable games: an algebraic approach
Although mixed extensions of finite games always admit equilibria, this is not the case for countable games, the best-known example being Wald's pick-the-larger-integer game.

Outer measures, measurability, and lattice regular measures
Let X be an arbitrary non-empty set, and ℒ a lattice of subsets of X such that ∅, X∈ℒ. 𝒜(ℒ) denotes the algebra generated by ℒ and I(ℒ) those zero-one valued, non-trivial, finitely additive measures on 𝒜(ℒ)Iσ(ℒ) denotes those elements of I(ℒ) that are σ ...

Special measures and repleteness
Let X be an abstract set and ℒ a lattice of subsets of X. To each lattice-regular measure μ, we associate two induced measures μ⌢ and μ˜ on suitable lattices of the Wallman space IR(ℒ) and another measure μ′ on the space IRσ(ℒ).
