Nonlinear Optical Microscopy of Semiconductor–Metal Nanocavities
Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.Three‐dimensional nonlinear optical microscopy is used to visualize GaAs–gold hybrid nanocavities. By carefully selecting the pump wavelength to position the harmonic generation at the nanopillar resonance, an enhanced contrast is observed in the nonlinear imaging.

Bent‐Core Liquid Crystal‐Based Heterojunctions as Gas Sensors
Advanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.Bilayer heterojunction devices are developed using liquid crystals and a molecular semiconductor. By employing banana‐shaped liquid crystals as a sublayer with lutetium bisphthalocyanine (LuPc2) on top, sensors sensitive to ammonia are achieved, detecting levels below 10 ppm, and as low as 2 ppm for specific devices.

Microwave‐Assisted One‐Pot Synthesis of Alkyl Levulinates From Post‐Harvest Vegetable Waste
Advanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.Vegetable waste is valorized through Soxhlet extraction using H₂O₂ and heteropolyacid (HPA), followed by material characterization (XRD, FTIR, TGA, DSC). A microwave‐assisted reaction at 170 °C for 30 min with HPA and alcohol yields bio‐based esters.
